Every step of the Stay the Course Walk is a step towards a stronger Western Sydney.
The Stay the Course Walk is the flagship activation of the Friends of Western Sydney (FoWS) campaign, a 4km, ambassador-led community walk that brings together students, staff, alumni, partners and supporters to stand behind student success.
This is more than a walk. It is a visible, shared moment that launches a collective opportunity to give, and shows what becomes possible when our community comes together to back the next generation of Western Sydney’s workforce.
On the day, participants are invited to give in real time — turning awareness into immediate action and helping ensure financial pressure is never the reason a student leaves university.

The Walk
The Stay the Course Walk is designed as a shared, high-energy experience with purpose built into every step.
A 4km community route led by ambassadors from across the university and wider community, with multiple guided walking groups ensuring an inclusive and welcoming experience for all fitness levels.
