Over the years, Giving Day at Western has shown what’s possible when our community comes together to back our students. Now, Stay the Course Walk builds on that momentum, bringing people together in a visible act of support for student success at a defining moment for Western Sydney.
As Western Sydney grows, so does the need for qualified local talent. Our students are that future workforce. Western Sydney University is educating the professionals and leaders the region needs, and with more than 75% of graduates staying and working in Western Sydney, supporting students through Stay the Course Walk is a powerful way to invest in the region’s future.
This special event will bring to life Friends of Western Sydney, a strategic initiative that helps students stay on track, helps businesses build their future talent pipeline, and helps Western Sydney grow with the skilled local workforce it needs. More than a walk, it is a symbol of walking alongside our students, showing them that they are supported, and are a key asset in growing this tremendous region.
