#StayTheCourse: More than just a walk
No student should have to put their future on hold because of financial hardship.
The Stay the Course Walk is a 4km community initiative bringing people together to back students across Western Sydney. By taking part, you show students their ambition matters. Funds raised provide practical support that helps students overcome barriers, stay enrolled and continue progressing toward graduation and local careers
Even if you’re not joining on the day, you can still stand alongside our students. Your donation is a powerful way to show your support and be part of their journey.

What your support makes possible
A student facing unexpected financial hardship may receive support for essentials such as transport, food, digital access or study resources, helping them stay enrolled and complete their degree
What's more, your donation helps power Friends of Western Sydney— a movement committed to backing students at every step. When you give, you are investing in the students who will become the nurses, teachers, engineers and business leaders this region urgently needs.
Whether one-time or ongoing, your contribution backs local students and helps shape Western Sydney’s future.
Backing Western Sydney's future
When you donate, you’re doing more than making a gift — you’re standing alongside our students and backing their journey to success.
